Me My Tropphies and I.

Raising my arm I felt very excited. The trophy was all mine. I could hear the crowd cheering. It was amazing! I had won! No more stress, no more waking up at 6am for practice. Dancing was fun but I was getting tired.
It was the end of the day. The competition was finished.
I had a shower, I brushed my long blond hair across my shoulder as I got dry. I went and got my favourite pyjamas on. They were rainbow coloured. I turned my stereo on.
“YES” I yelped. My favourite song was on (Enie Mine by Justin Bieber). I lay on my bed looking at my window pane. I             could see the reflection of my trophies.

I woke up the next day. The trophies were all GONE!!! I was very unhappy. Who would have taken them? They were my prize possessions. I got up and glanced at my brother. He looked guilty. I told him to brush his light brown hair out of his eyes. He listened to me, and then I asked him
“Have you taken my trophies?”
He replied “Why? What happened to them?”
“My trophies are gone” I exclaimed. He looked around him and said
“I will keep an eye out for them”. He didn’t come near me that day. I ran down to the corner shop where my mum works. I usually don’t go there because she has to wear a ridiculous apron that says
“Pay less buy more!” and a stupid head band with lady bug antennas (it’s pretty creepy!).
When I got to the shop Mum was serving an old lady. When the old lady had turned around and walked out of the shop with big bags of food and supplies, I saw a glimpse of gold. It looked like a trophy.
Mum asked what was worrying me. I said
“I can’t find my trophies. They are all gone” Mum said she saw some trophies in the bags the old lady was carrying. My face went as white as a ghost. I was determined to find that old lady again.
I ran as fast as the wind to find that lady on an old person’s scooter. I kept running and running. I no sooner got to her and asked her if I could inspect her bags. She asked me
“Why?” I replied straight away and lied while I was at it. I said for a project at school. She agreed
“Sure ok” I started to look in the first bag food, food, hair curlers, hair straightner and body spray. In the next bag something tall wrapped in newspaper. I asked her if I could undo the newspaper. She snapped at me and said
“Why” I reminded her it was for a project at school. She answered me and said
“OK but don’t break them”
“I will be very careful”.
I unwrapped the paper. It was 2 trophies. I was tempted to grab them and run but I might get in trouble she might chase me. I read the writing they were addressed to me for coming 2nd in 2 competitions. I asked where she had got the trophies from. She said they were on display out the front of 8 Georden Terrace place,
“I know who lives there!” I replied.
“I will take them back” I sprinted as fast as a cheetah back home. I was delighted!!!
The next day I woke up and saw my trophies. I was very proud of myself!!! Six months later my trophy cabinet had grown even bigger, 8 trophies, 6 medals and 1 ribbon.
